Dr. Benoît Mayer (司马本诺) is an Associate Professor in the School of Law of Wuhan University, where he is affiliated with the International Law Institute and the Environmental Law Institute. He has previously studied in Sciences Po Lyon (M.A. Political Sciences), the Sorbonne University (Maîtrise in Public Laws), McGill University (LL.M.) and the National University of Singapore (PhD in Laws). His research focuses on international climate change law and governance, in particular with regard to human mobility, loss and damage, and adaptation. He has also published four books and more than twenty peer-reviewed articles on climate change, migration, and international law in journals across the world.
